The API Base Camp Trek is one of the most spectacular and least explored Himalayan adventures in India. Starting from Dharchula, near the Indo-Nepal border, this 9N/10D trek takes you deep into the Byas Valley of Uttarakhand — a land of mystic beauty, alpine meadows, ancient temples, and warm local hospitality.

Dominated by the mighty Mount API (7,132m) — the highest peak in the Kumaon Himalayas — this trek offers breathtaking views of Nampa, Chaudhara, and surrounding snow-capped summits. The trail winds through lush pine forests, glacial rivers, and charming Kumaoni villages, offering trekkers an intimate experience of both nature and culture.

A true offbeat gem, API Base Camp Trek is for those who crave serenity, raw landscapes, and spiritual stillness far from the commercial trails of Garhwal and Himachal.
